Comment by Thottbot Having money making professions really help. But, its all about luck honestly. Maybe getting some lucky items that sell big at the AH that you pick up. It took a while but I managed to hit my 5k and am very close to exalted and getting my dragon. Comment by Thottbot I am currently level 64 with my second alliance hunter and am looking forward to purchasing a Veridian drake for her in the future. Well, actually, right now I am looking forward to putting on my Gladiator gear and then getting my first flying mount the Golden Gryphon.

And maybe grinding a bit for the Winterspring Saber. However, as soon as this character is able, I plan on getting Zoya Veridian as my quest reward with a possible future purchase of Onyxia Onyx just to change it up a little bit. I have seen many people say on this forum and others "why get the drake when everyone has it? On my server, Anub'arak, you see more Netherwing Drakes in outlands than anything else, so it kind of takes the novelty away from it in that way.

But I personally love the Drakes over any other mount, having a Violet on my alt hunter on a PvE server, and see the time-consuming quest as well worth it. The Drakes are the largest, most impressive flying mounts, and always fun to see a lower level enemy start to run when you land in front of them with, what they know is the full intention to kill them.

Not to mention, being the owner of reptiles in real life, I love the "dragons" more than the "lion-horse-things" more. I know this post was pointless, but perhaps someone found it slightly interesting. If only to make you yourself more interested in working for your own Drake. Don't waste your time feeding coordinates into some other AddOn.
