Some of us are at our best when we are over 50…men and women alike! Your post is so true. And your point was so accurate. When the shopping channels oust older, more experienced hosts, they are turning off their base clientele.

And like Pauline said, clients that have been long term buyers like the familiarity and knowledge that most of the seasoned hosts have. And everybody is more comfortable with familiar faces. True, some of the older hosts yammer on too much, too…or get gushy and gooey over items. But most of them know their job, and work well with vendors. Sadly, I think many older hosts and vendors are going to go bye bye under the cruel, stupid reign of Mike George. I loved when Suzanne was on with Colleen…it was so much fun.
